I love that look of lace-trimmed little slip dresses paired with oversized sweaters, especially right now during this not-quite-spring, not-quite-winter transition.  However, I’m trying to be good and not make any purchases that aren’t really necessary so I went searching around through my closet instead, where I found this Target dress I picked up several years back.  It worked as an appropriate stand in for the look I was hoping for, and reminded me that sometimes it’s worth looking at what you already have instead of reaching for something new.
