When I spotted this dress, I envisioned it being ideal for all of the bridal showers and weddings that are filling the calendar this year.  However, when I spend a little more than I normally I would on a dress, I try to make sure to get a little extra wear out of it, which leads to dressing it down to make it a little more versatile.  (Never underestimate cost-per-wear people, it’s a very real thing.)  Suddenly, with slip-ons and my favorite army green jacket, it feels much less formal and much more daytime appropriate.
