I’ve always wanted to be one of those girls who could effortlessly pull off a knit hat in the fall, but after a lot of trial and error I decided it was a lost cause.  When I was in New York several weeks back, and it was still entirely too warm out to be even thinking about knit hats, I stumbled on this mauve topper that was priced just right I had to bring it home and give the style one last try.  Turns out that the “right” hat for me just needed a little extra material to achieve that perfectly flopped look I’d been craving.
