Currently, we’ve still got a lot of leftover snow covering the ground, but last week you could still get away with wearing heels outta the house and a few layers in place of a winter coat.  Truthfully, I’d never been completely sold on the idea of puffer vests.  The really, well, puffy options added extra bulk while the thinner varieties seemed like they wouldn’t actually do much to keep me warm.  It turns out I was wrong.  I grabbed this thinner version for myself on sale before after picking up two other colors as holiday gifts and realizing I might have been misguided with my original assumptions.  Not only does this style add a bright, fun, pop to an outfit, but it really does keep me warm as well.  And best of all, there’s no bulk so it even fits under my little leather jackets.
