My first instinct when mixing colors, prints, and textures is usually to keep my shoes fairly neutral.  The next thing I tend to do is ignore that first instinct, because what’s the fun in always playing it safe?  The embossing on this skirt is so subtle, I love the idea of pairing it plaids and other prints, while the navy and baby blue color blocking on these well-loved heels manages to pull together this undone combo just enough for my liking.
