You know when you find something in a store and you instantly know exactly what you’d want to pair it with?  That’s how it was when I spotted this striped popover.  I spent a few weeks going back and forth, fawning over the bright color, debating if I truly needed to add it to my closet before deciding that it would look as great thrown on with shorts as it would with my original pairing choice — this full, navy skirt (last worn here).  Not to mention there was only one left in my size when I went back so I took that as a sure sign that it had to come home with me.
