While we were in Virginia, we decided to do a little “hiking” in the Shenandoah Mountains along the Skyline Drive.  I use that term, “hiking,” very loosely since neither of us had packed proper hiking gear, but I did have workout pants, a few layers, and a pair of sneakers.  This is more of a combination I’d wear for a Saturday morning trip to the dog park, but in a pinch it worked for taking in the scenery along one of America’s best fall drives.
