I never fully allow myself to enjoy September because I always feel like I’m stuck in this weird limbo between desperately trying to hold onto summer and being internally torn with the desire to break out booties, flannel and sweaters.  This year I’m embracing the still warm, yet perfectly breezy temperatures and giving myself clearance to break out those fall-friendly pieces without feeling as though I’m cheating on summer.  I’m just still not quite ready to go order a pumpkin spiced latte, give me another week for that one.
