I’ve been wanting to mix gingham prints since I got these shoes a few months back, but kept forgetting I had this shirt tucked into the back of my closet.  At first I pulled out a red gingham printed top, but it seemed a little too cliché to dress like a red, white and blue picnic scene so close to July 4th.  I still have my bold lip for a bit of red, but it’s probably a little less cheesy to dress patriotically while we’re still a few days away from the holiday than on it — right?
