I’m in love with this necklace, not just because of the bohemian feel it adds to any outfit, and not even because it was so beautifully hand crafted, but because it was handmade by survivors of human trafficking. My necklace, more precisely, came with a tag stating that Sultana was the name of the survivor who handmade my necklace “with love,” thanks in part to the opportunity given to her by iSanctuary. How truly special is that? The iSanctuary organization works to rehabilitate girls and young women who have been rescued from human trafficking, providing them with marketable training and skills to sustain themselves and aspire to pursue better futures. The story behind the company in charge of this special mission is worth reading up on, and makes me proud to support iSanctuary.
Yes, I was gifted this necklace, but all thoughts and opinions stated are my very own, and this is not a sponsored post. Who wouldn’t want to support a “purchase with a purpose“?
