A leather (or faux) jacket is like a staple layering piece every closet should have. I have a brown one that I’ve had for years that’s so buttery soft and broken in I never plan to part with it, but my black version was a very cheap find, pulled from a discounted rack at Forever 21. It’s still a piece I love to keep on hand, but it’s too big so it doesn’t exactly provide that pulled together, chic look I yearn for in a little biker-esque piece, which is why I recently exclaimed to the bf that I needed a proper little jacket. I wanted something with cropped sleeves (I always push mine up anyway) and more tailored fit. I found this one on sale, and while I’m slightly smitten with it, I’m still not convinced it’s “the one”, but it will do just fine in the interim.
