I think a little white (or cream) dress is an absolute closet must.  It’s the perfect neutral base to build an outfit around.  It works well alone, with a statement necklace, a colorful sweater, a denim vest, or even a kimono-style jacket, proving it may just be the most versatile item in your arsenal for those “I have nothing to wear” days.
