The tapestry fabric, fitted waist and flared skirt continues to make this dress one of my favorites in my closet.  As much as I love it by itself, like I wore it here, I love to play with new ideas and fresh ways to wear my favorite pieces.  I’ve been experimenting with working turtlenecks into my layering lately (like here), so it seemed like a natural fit to pair a complementing colored turtleneck, rather than covering up the look with a jacket or sweater.  Are you warming up* to layering with turtlenecks?

 *Pun intended.  I’m actually not completely sold on colored tights either, but sometimes it’s fun to step outside your comfort zone when it comes to fashion.
