I’m a firm believer in finding new ways to wear what you’ve already got in your closet.  I mean, obviously we’re all going to wear the pieces in our closet over and over again, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find new ways to put a fresh twist on them.  I was never quite sold on hats as accessories – as practical pieces for keeping the sun out of your eyes or covering up a bad hair day, sure, but as a key piece to finish off a look, not so much.  Now though, I’ve realized that the right hat, with the right shape, can transform a look.  This one brought out a California charm in an older dress.
