I’ve been really into the idea of dresses over pants for some time now, but I’ve been reluctant to really dive in.  Part of this has to do with the fact that I’ve been much more likely to reach for flats instead of heels lately, and you generally need that elongated effect a heel gives to somewhat successfully pull it off.  This weekend we had a birthday party to go to though, and I wanted to be comfortable and have a little fun with my style so it seemed like the perfect occasion to give it a go.
