I feel like I’m pretty content with my leather jacket wardrobe at this point. Over the years I’ve added real and faux styles that check most of the categories you’d want in a leather jacket, but the one area I’d been lacking in, until earlier this winter season, was an oversized style that would be warm enough to act as an actual coat and not just a piece to pull an outfit together. Think about it, the more fitted styles aren’t usually warm enough to wear alone in colder climates, aren’t ideal for layering sweaters and thicker garments underneath, and yet, are too bulky to comfortably fit under most other winter coats. This faux style has been adding a little extra edge to my everyday outfits, boasts a shearling lining to keep me warm and cozy, and is oversized* enough to handle even my bulkiest sweaters if I wish.
*I sized up a size or two in a style I found and liked to achieve the oversized look I wanted.
