Admittedly, each place we visited during our road trip became a contender for favorite state/city/national park, but Arizona really was something special. We only got a little taste, seeing the Grand Canyon and a bit of Lake Meade, but Usery Mountain Regional Park was the first AZ destination to win me over. While we were there we slept outside under the stars beside giant cacti, the weather was dry and warm, and the sunset top-notch. We wished we’d had more time there, but we’d made plans to stay in Joshua Tree the following day so we didn’t get to as much exploring as we would’ve liked – what we did see was enough to make us want to go back, though. (And the coffee and vibes at Sip are also worth going back for!)
Can I also just say I had thought I’d be packing up this dress until next summer season, but now I want to throw an oversized, cozy cardigan sweater over it and turn to this brilliant blue to brighten up grey winter days.
