Gingham is one of those fabrics that is more popular some years than others but ultimately is timeless.  It’s a classic come warmer weather, right up there with hot dogs on the grill.  This season I’ve had to stop myself several times from buying a blue check gingham dresses, sandals and bikinis (okay, I did buy this one-piece though), because there are so many cute styles everywhere but I don’t want my closet to start looking like a picnic blanket.
