I haven’t planned an outfit around my shoes much since my knee surgery last summer; mainly because there was a long stretch of time where I could only realistically wear a handful of shoes in my closet.  Yesterday I had meetings spread throughout the day and decided that these were the shoes.  Of course deciding on a weather-appropriate, season-appropriate, situation-appropriate outfit that I was also going to be comfortable running around in all day (that wasn’t going to easily wrinkle) was a whole other issue, but really you can’t go wrong with a confidence-boosting, bright shade of orangey-red.
