I used to love going back to school shopping this time of year.  Getting a budget towards picking out the essential pieces I’d need to get the year started.  Just because I’m not heading back to the classroom, doesn’t mean I don’t still relish the hunt of selecting a few key new wardrobe components when September rolls around.  This year, my fall must-haves have a particularly 90s feel, yet also encompass the staying power that overly trendy pieces are lacking and the versatility needed to integrate them into my closet with ease.  My picks?  A simple gold collar, a slightly over-sized denim jacket, black and brown ankle boots, and a great pair of grey sneakers, all from Kohl’s so I still didn’t break my budget.
