I’m going to start by saying I’m not condoning mid-workweek day-drinking, or that you need to partake in order to celebrate*, but let’s face it, the Eagles won the Superbowl which is a HUGE deal if you’re from the Philadelphia area.  So with the victory parade this Thursday, I wanted to put together a healthier, green cocktail that’s not your typical bloody mary.  I’m calling it a Green Eagle – because good or bad, in Philadelphia, we bleed green.

*If you’re like me and actually need to work post-parade celebrations, make this drink a virgin by ditching the vodka and triple sec (or using a non-alcoholic triple sec like this one).

1 oz triple sec
1.5 oz vodka (I like Khor Platinum or Khor Hot Honey Pepper for a spicy kick that gives the basic bloody mary a run for its money)
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup Naked Juice Green Machine
sliced fruit for garnish

Shake triple sec and vodka over ice and strain. Pour into chilled orange juice and Naked Juice Green Machine. Stir, garnish, and enjoy responsibly.
