Sweatpants are made infinitely more acceptable for wear outside the house when they’re covered in sequins.  I’m still not feeling 100%, but I don’t feel so bad living in sweats when they sparkle.  Plus there’s nothing like sequins and a little lipstick to make a girl feel a little better, at least for a short while.
