Last night I attended an event with J. Jill – which was as inspiring because of the clothing as it was for the passion behind their branding of their new “Uncomplicated” shopping experience, and it was the perfect excuse to break out my new favorite skirt; not that I needed one.  The last few years the maxi skirt was my skirt of choice (before that it was definitely the mini, but I had much more confidence in my legs during that phase), now though, for me, it’s all about the midi skirt and this skirt is the crème de la crème.  It’s such a neutral color I feel like it can be worn in so many ways and the material is so heavy and full that it feels very luxe.  Plus, there are pockets, which is an obvious check in the “plus” column.
