Long winter days are best handled with lots of layers and a sturdy boot.  I tackled yesterday’s continuous misty fog with the help of a snuggly soft knit and broken-in jacket thrown over a light-as-air dress, a thick pair of tights and the most resilient heeled booties I’ve yet to find.
