I’m sure I’m in the minority saying this, but I didn’t have much interest in the Missoni for Target collection. Even so, I was still curious to see the collection up close since I’ve found great pieces from past Target collaborations, and naively, I expected little launch day madness at my local store. Wandering over just before 10am, I was met with mostly barren racks and shelves, and a few female shoppers who appeared to have their minds. I actually witnessed a woman sneaking items out of a fellow shoppers cart while her back was turned; really, it was ridiculous. This dress was one piece I had been interested in, so I considered myself lucky to have politely acquired it, along with a few other pieces for gifts, from a sweet, and somewhat scared, employee transferring discarded items from the fitting room. While I am quite happy about the items I managed to nab, both in quality and style, I still can’t completely wrap my head around the chaos, or the cart pilfering.
