Ever since the bf and I got to tour the Karen Kane headquarters, reaching in my closet and pulling out one of their pieces feels a little more special knowing we got to see exactly where they were thought up, designed, and created.  This top has been tucked in my closet for a while now, waiting for the right, warm summer night.  I pulled it out last night for a casual date with my beau, who told me that paired with my d.i.y. denim shorts and vintage rope belt I looked like a surf-side, California girl.  I’ll take that as a fitting complement since that’s exactly where this top came from.
