It’s amazing how wearing red and white can feel instantly retro. Or maybe it just feels that way for me, but pairing a button down with a pleated midi skirt and mules made me feel like I stepped back in time and yet it wasn’t costumey. Of course tying the top at the waist (with the ends tucked under) helped to lend to the evocative vibes.
